Comprehensive Protection Plan School Certificate
The Comprehensive Protection Plan (CPP) provides educational benefits for certain children of deceased participants.
Eligibility
- Age 18 to 24
- Full-time student at secondary or post-secondary educational institution
Apply for CPP Education Benefits
- School Certificate form—required. Return signed form to Wespath Benefits and Investments. New form required every academic semester/trimester/quarter.
- Direct Deposit—Information and Instructions form—optional, for payment to financial institution via electronic funds transfer.
Children under the age of 18 will receive an annual benefit of 10% of the Demoninational Average Compensation (DAC) for educational costs.
