Wespath’s Green Team Takes Action

Led by Wespath’s Green Team, Wespath continues its commitment to keeping our planet green, clean and sustainable with organizational learnings, activities and challenges throughout the year.

During Earth Week 2022 (April 18-23), Wespath employees at our Glenview, Illinois headquarters will be challenged to collect enough plastic grocery bags to create a commemorative bench on the property. They’ll have six months to collect 500 pounds of bags that can be turned into a bench! Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates on our collection’s progress. Other Earth Week activities include a plant-based cooking demonstration, a “Think Before You Print” campaign, and a Wespath Family and Friends Clean-up Day where we’ll pick up trash to help beautify a public space in the Chicagoland area.

Wespath also supports a local food cooperative by offering staff a fresh fruit and vegetable delivery program to its Glenview office.

In addition, throughout the year, we host educational programs to help employees learn more about environmental justice, composting and other ways to promote environmental health.
